Situated in the heart of Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Orth’s Nursery is a family owned and operated wholesale nursery. Upon commencing operations in 1989 after owners Hans and Anna both completed certificates in Horticulture they decided to extend their partnership into a business partnership. Orths has grown tenfold since this time and has seen many changes along the way. 30 years ago, Orths offered only a small collection of basic plants.Starting with a small 1-acre plot and now having grown into to a 5-acre Nursery site including indoor and outdoor growing acres along with 30 acres of vineyard. Over the years due to customer demand and environmental changes Orths are now proud to offer over 200 varieties of plants from common lines to PBR lines. Being true horticulturalist,a variety of propagation techniques are used including grafting and budding. Our tube stock varieties are grown on and sold in 14cm, 20cm, 25cm and 33cm pots. Controlling propagation allows for the provision of varieties you may not be able to find through tube stock nurseries.
